New Orleans KOA Holiday is an urban park, perfectly located to everything New Orleans has to offer.
In 2026, the campground dedicates a lodge in honor of Kermit Ruffins and name the street leading to the lodge in recognition of Ruffins and his family, whose work reflects the city’s cultural heritage.

12-6pm | New Orleans KOA Holiday is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a free community celebration featuring live jazz from Kermit Ruffins and his band, a traditional second line parade, food and drinks, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
As part of the celebration, the campground will dedicate a lodge in honor of Kermit Ruffins and name the street leading to the lodge in recognition of Ruffins and his family. The dedication will launch a new tradition at New Orleans KOA Holiday of naming its lodges for notable local artists whose work reflects the city’s cultural heritage.
