Applications are now available for the 2014 edition of CLASS GOT BRASS, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation's contest for Louisiana high schools and middle schools to create second-line groups in the New Orleans brass band tradition. At stake are more than $20,000 worth of prizes - in the form of instruments for the winning schools' music programs.
The deadline to enter the contest is Monday, March 10, 2014, and the finals will be held on Sunday, March 23. To enter, use the online application form.
