NOLA BEATS FOR ORLANDO: A BENEFIT CONCERT AND BLOOD DRIVE

                              All funds collected will support the Orlando shooting victims and their families.

The event will feature a blood drive sponsored by Ochsner Hospital and a tribute to the Pulse nightclub victims.

There will be musical performances by Stooges Brass Band, Tarriona “tank” Ball, Mia Borders, Arséne DeLay & The Bayou Saints, Robin Barnes, Khris Royal, and Tonya Boyd-Cannon. Entertainers and speakers from the LGBT community will also participate in the activities.

The event will also honor the victims of the 1973 Upstairs Lounge arson attack in New Orleans, where 32 victims perished.

Participants can write letters to the victims and their families at a letter-writing station and for a donation of $1. Balloons can be purchased for a special release.

There will be a cash bar and local food trucks providing food for purchase.

There is a suggested donation of $5 for the event. First NBC Bank will oversee donations to the OneOrlando Fund.
