49 years ago, Mildred and Richard Loving (an interracial couple) were arrested in Virginia, and sentenced to a year in prison for the crime of being married. The Lovings' landmark civil rights case, Loving v Virginia ended all race-based legal restrictions to marriage on JUNE 12, 1967 - LOVING DAY, We're honoring Richard and Mildred's legacy by showcasing love songs all night with special guests.
