9th Annual Regional Adult Education Graduation

The Literacy Alliance of Greater New Orleans (LAGNO) will host the 9th Annual Regional Adult Education graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 14, at 10:00a.m. The event will take place at Roussel Hall on Loyola University’s Campus. More than 100 graduates will celebrate passing the HiSET (formerly GED) exam as they walk across the stage and receive their diplomas to the cheers of family and friends. Judges Clare Jupiter and Regina H. Bartholomew will join educators from around New Orleans in presenting diplomas to the graduates. Hal Clark, host of WYLD 98.5’s “Sunday Journal,” will serve as emcee for the event. Graduates from educational programs at Hope House, Jefferson Parish Adult Education Program, Youth Empowerment Program, St. Bernard Adult Education Program, YES Adult Education Services, St. Vincent de Paul Adult Education Services, and Bridge City Correctional Center will take part in the ceremony.
