Henry Turner Jr. Day salutes individuals, organizations and companies for philanthropic efforts. The first honoree is Families Helping Families of Greater Baton Rouge that provides comprehensive information and support services for families whose members have disabilities. The family friendly event is free and features music, food and vendors. Performances to date include Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor, the Henry Turner Jr. Listening Room All-Stars, The Rakers, Smokehouse Porter and Miss Mamie, Nebu Nezey and Kalila.
