Second Line Brewing, located in the mid-city neighborhood of New Orleans, announces the second release of their Imperial Rye IPA, Alryte, Alryte, Alryte on June 24th 2017. Named after the famous quote from Matthew McConaughey's character, David Wooderson, in the 1993 movie Dazed and Confused, this beer features plenty of Citra, Equinox, Mosaic and Eureka hops. The brainchild of Second Line’s head brewer, Gar Hatcher, Alryte, Alryte, Alryte is a big beer at 9.2% Alcohol By Volume (ABV) with 112 International Bitterness Units (IBUs). “With all the rye put into this beer, it kind of named itself,” Hatcher says. His influence goes beyond the recipe as his likeness is featured on the bottle’s label, a colorful homage to Dazed and Confused and the Wooderson character. "We weren't anticipating re-releasing Alryte Alryte Alryte this early, but due to popular demand, we realized it needed to get into production ASAP," says Mark Logan, co-founder and COO of Second Line. To celebrate the re-release, Second Line Brewing, will be hosting a party featuring live music from Smoke n' Bones, a local funk band and food from the Fete au Fete food truck. The party will take place all day on Saturday, June 24th, with the band performing at 7:30 pm. Alryte, Alryte, Alryte will be available on draft and in 22oz bombers for those who want to enjoy this great brew at home.
