Join us for a special Hip Hop History Month double-feature edition of “Musically Speaking." 'Big Fun in the Big Town:' In 1986, during a weeklong trip to NY, a Dutch filmmaker documented the phenomenon of a subculture hardly heard of across the pond in Europe: hip-hop. Featuring: Marley Marl, Grandmaster Flash, Run-DMC, Jam Master Jay, LL Cool J, Roxanne Shante, the Last Poets, and more. 'Graffiti Rock:' This rare hip hop TV show only received 1 pilot episode in 1984, but featured Run DMC, the New York City Breakers, and more.
